She is highly skilled in real estate lending, underwriting, finance and asset management which has successfully expanded her flourishing lending enterprise. Her journey in real estate commenced with Asset management and distressed properties, which eventually led her to venture into private money lending. Since inception of Cardinal Capital Group, she has swiftly established herself as the leading private lender in Massachusetts, her native state. Throughout her career, she has been instrumental in helping numerous clients secure competitive financing for all different types of projects, offering them a trusted financial ally. She has funded well over $1 Billion dollars in business purpose loans, throughout her professional tenure and owns one of the largest female-owned private lending businesses in the country. She prides herself on running a company built off of Adaptability, Devotion and Integrity.

Jake Malkoon

Partner & CFO

Jake Malkoon is a partner and the Chief Financial Officer at Cardinal Capital Group. During his tenure he has successfully managed over $2 billion in Real Estate fundings. Originally from Massachusetts, Jake has also played a crucial role in driving the firm’s growth in his home state. Under his leadership, Jake and his team have consistently delivered outstanding performance and returns for investors, achieving double-digit returns year over year since the firm’s inception. This exceptional performance has fueled significant growth for Cardinal Capital Group. With 20 years of experience in finance, Jake has been instrumental in scaling the fund at an impressive rate. Some of his notable career achievements have been in Capital Markets including onboarding Cardinal Capital Group as an alternative investment option with some of the largest financial institutions nationwide.

Dominic Blad

Partner & Chief Investment Officer

Dominic is a founding partner and the Chief Investment Officer at Cardinal Capital Group. He plays a pivotal role in the firm’s success, having been instrumental in its significant growth since its inception. Dominic has originated over $2 billion in short-term collateral, showcasing his expertise and impact in the finance sector. As CIO, Dominic is responsible for the strategic direction and management of the firm’s lending, capital markets, and infrastructure. Before joining Cardinal Capital Group, he served as a senior associate at BiCoastal Capital, where he focused on originations, sales, and capital relations, primarily on the East Coast. Dominic has established a strong presence in the finance industry, maintaining and expanding relationships in both capital markets and client-facing roles with investors and developers. His ability to nurture these connections has been crucial to his success and the firm’s growth.

John Coury

Director of Investor Relations

John Coury is the Director of Investor Relations at Cardinal Capital Group, leading the firm’s capital raising, investor communications, and strategic partnerships. With more than 15 years in real estate capital markets, private credit, and investment banking, he has been involved in over $2 billion in transactions and plays a central role in expanding Cardinal’s investor base and institutional relationships. Before joining Cardinal, John served as Head of Capital Markets and Strategic Partnerships at New Silver Lending, overseeing all debt and equity capital efforts and building relationships across the private credit ecosystem. His prior experience includes co-leading a cross-border commercial real estate firm focused on multifamily and commercial acquisitions in the U.S. and Canada, as well as originating and structuring transactions as Vice President at Axiom Capital Management in New York. His relationship-driven approach continues to support Cardinal’s growth as a leading private lending and investment platform.

Michael Cimmino

Associate Director of Investor Relations

Michael Cimmino brings more than 15 years of real estate experience to his role at Cardinal Capital Group, where he focuses on finance, capital raising, and investor relations. As a licensed Realtor in Massachusetts, Michael has spent over a decade working in the Boston-area market, developing expertise in property valuation, deal structuring, and market trends. His background in real estate combined with his financial acumen allows him to connect investors with high quality opportunities, driving growth for both Cardinal Capital Group and its investment partners.
