Eric Schneider

Principal & Co-Founder

Eric Schneider is Principal and Co-Founder of Brit Properties and, with Joel Friedland, controls the firm's sponsor entity, Brit Realty Partners. He handles property and asset management for the buildings Brit's investors own and finds new industrial acquisitions, meeting sellers to structure each purchase around their timing. His focus includes vacant buildings bought on a speculative basis and sale-leaseback acquisitions.

Joel Friedland

Principal & Co-Founder

Joel Friedland is Principal and Co-Founder of Brit Properties, where he oversees asset management of the firm's industrial real estate investments. He has worked in industrial real estate since 1981 and holds the SIOR designation. In 1991 he co-founded Epic/Savage Realty Partners, which he and his partners sold to Transwestern in 2014. Brit Properties has acquired 108 industrial buildings in Chicagoland since 1989.

Heather Eady

Executive Assistant & Investor Relations Administrator

Heather Eady is Executive Assistant and Investor Relations Administrator at Brit Properties. She prepares and distributes investor documentation, keeps the firm's records organized, and supports communication with investors about portfolio activity and reporting.

Sam Friedland

Acquisitions & Investor Relations

Sam Friedland leads acquisitions and investor relations at Brit Properties. He finds buildings to buy by canvassing industrial parks across the Chicago area door to door, builds relationships with new and existing investors and with the industrial brokerage community, and assists with property management. He is Joel Friedland's son.

Mark Friedland

Administration

Mark Friedland handles property insurance and internal corporate administration for Brit Properties' industrial portfolio, and works on marketing to build relationships with investors and property sellers. He is Joel Friedland's brother and has been involved with the firm's industrial portfolio for more than 24 years.

Zola Smith

Controller

Zola Smith is Controller for Brit Properties, working through the accounting firm one10. She oversees the company's accounting, completes quarterly distributions to investors, handles property accounting for its buildings, and works with outside accountants so tax returns and K-1s are completed on time. She has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and financial management, specializing in real estate investments and private equity.
